Information Desk staff will be stationed at one of two Information Desks in the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Hotel and report to the Information Desk Manager. Ideal candidates must possess strong communication skills, a helpful attitude, and enjoy speaking to a variety of people. General knowledge of the Boston area is a plus.

Info Desk staff are required to be familiar with the layout of the Convention Center Complex, the Hotel, and all Anime Boston events. Materials will be provided to staff before the convention for review and will be available at each Desk during the convention. The most common questions concern event times and locations, and directions to events and eatery locations.

All staff are required to read the forums once a week, and it is best to read the staff forums for all convention departments to familiarize yourself with all areas of the convention. Please include an AIM screen name and/or MSN e-mail address when applying.

All staff are required to help with the post-con pack-up after the convention ends on Sunday, unless pre-approved to leave early at the time of hire.
