Program Guide Coordinator

The Public Relations department of Anime Boston is looking for a detail-oriented person to fill the position of PROGRAM GUIDE COORDINATOR. Ideal candidates should be willing to take on the challenge of creating a product seen by everyone at the convention.

The Program Guide Coordinator will be responsible for the text of the AB2008 Program Guide. This position will work closely with the Programming Department to insure all video screenings, panels, and guests are properly explained. The Coordinator will also work closely with the Design and Layout Coordinator to create the final product.

Attention to details and deadlines are required for this position. A broad knowledge of popular and obscure anime is also required.

Candidates should be prepared to present a portfolio of previous work at the interview.

Candidates with high standards for publications are encouraged to apply. A degree in Journalism, English or Communications or extensive field experience is preferred.

All staff members are required to assist with breakdown on Sunday unless previously excused. Benefits include a free hotel room to be shared with no more than three other staff members, free food on scheduled days, and free admission to Anime Boston 2008.
