Purchasing Manager
At the convention, the Purchasing Manager is responsible for picking up items requested/ordered by staff. Some items that the Purchasing Manager and Assistant pick up include the Con Chowder newsletter from the printer, perishable food supplies for Hospitality, and other misc paper/office supplies when needed. A dependable car and the ability to lift at least 20 pounds is required. Knowledge of Boston streets and driving is a plus.
Staff are required to read forums once a week, and it is best to read the staff forums for all convention departments to familiarize yourself with all areas of the convention. All staff are required to help with the post-con pack-up after the convention ends on Sunday, unless pre-approved to leave early at the time of hire. To Apply:
