Registration Technology Manager The Registration Technology Manager is head of the Department of Registration Technology in the Registration Division. The Manager is responsible for maintaining, developing, and documenting the registration system hardware and software. He/she is also responsible for training the other reg techs and all reg staff on use of the system. Ongoing maintenance of the pre-registration and at-con registration systems (servers, printers, and software) falls within the purview of Registration Technology. The Manager must have a strong background in computing, system administration, and/or programming. Familiarity with the technologies used is a plus; a willingness to learn them is essential.
As with all Registration staff, the Registration Technology Manager must assist with the operations of the Division, specifically:
All staff are required to read the forums at least once a week, and it is best to read the staff forums for all convention departments to familiarize yourself with all areas of the convention. All staff are required to help with the post-con pack-up after the convention ends on Sunday, unless pre-approved to leave early at the time of hire. To Apply:
