Security Manager
Security Managers oversee all activity by the Security Staff and are report to the Director of Operations. Special duties for Security Managers include appointing staff to the Assistant Security Manager, Security HQ Manager and the Overnight Security Manager positions, as well as hiring the regular the Security Staff.
Aside from the Executive Staff, Security Managers are the only staff who are allowed to pull an attendee's badge at any time. Since Anime Boston 2006 Security Managers have worn red T-shirts to make them stand out from the regular orange worn by all other Security Staff. Anime Boston presently maintains two Security Managers on its staff. All staff are required to read the forums at least once a week, and it is best to read the staff forums for all convention departments to familiarize yourself with all areas of the convention. All staff are required to help with the post-con pack-up after the convention ends on Sunday, unless pre-approved to leave early at the time of hire. To Apply:
