Senior Technical Staff

Senior Tech staff are Tech Staff members whom have shown their ability to assist the convention and have an intimate grasp for how the convention operates and what is necessary for it to operate smoothly. Generally Sr. Tech Staff are more versed in the equipment, are veteran staffers , or are otherwise confident in their ability to advance the convention. We advise retuning Tech staffers to apply for this position only if they wish to take on more responsibility. New Staffers are welcome to apply but it takes a superior candidate for immediate acceptance into Sr. Tech staff.

All Tech Staff members are required to fulfill at least 20 hours of work over the course of the convention. (The 20 hours does not include setup/takedown time.) Initial schedule requests can be submitted before the convention and final schedules will be handed out at the convention.

All staff are required to read forums once a week. It is suggested to read the staff forums for all convention departments to familiarize yourself with all areas of the convention. All staff are required to help with the post-con pack-up after the convention ends on Sunday, unless pre-approved to leave early at the time of hire.
