Volunteer Wrangler is a very important role in the Anime Boston community. The Wrangler helps to ensure that all goes well in the very busy Volunteer Department. The duties of Wranglers are as follows: making sure all volunteers are registered, making sure those that have crash space are able to access it, enforcing hour requirements, helping make sure all departments receive the help they request, and most importantly, making sure people are having fun. Excellent people skills are a must, mild Microsoft Excel and Word skills are necessary. Wranglers report directly to the Volunteer Managers and serve under the jurisdiction of the Operations Division. Most Wranglers work between 30 and 40 throughout the weekend.

Staff are required to read forums once a week, and it is best to read the staff forums for all convention departments to familiarize yourself with all areas of the convention.

All staff are required to help with the post-con pack-up after the convention ends on Sunday, unless pre-approved to leave early at the time of hire.
