Intro to Retro Game Collecting
Hosted by Aaron Clark
Every five years, the video game industry enters a new "generation", where newer, more powerful hardware is released, providing games with better graphics and more potential. At the same time, the past generation becomes obsolete, and eventually, retro. Some of those games age badly, and some age well, but ultimately, good games are always good games, and time will give the final seal of approval. The secondary retro market is not only far cheaper, but more rewarding, and ultimately more fun to explore. This panel will provide a primer to retro game collecting, so you can get started with the classics of gaming's history.
