Do you like to draw? Do you like Anime Boston? Now you can have the best of both worlds - announcing the Anime Boston 2006 Art Contest!

A-chan and B-kun are an important part of Anime Boston, and we're curious as to how you see them. We're inviting you to illustrate your ideas for our mascots and contribute them to the Anime Boston community by submitting your best fanart of A-chan and B-kun in this year's Revolutionary War theme. Winners of the contest will receive an Anime Boston 2006 T-shirt, get free admission to Anime Boston 2007, and have a chance to get their art printed in the convention program guide! Entries will be accepted until April 2nd. Please refer to the Rules and Guidelines of the contest before submission. So get out your sketchpads and take your best shot. We're waiting to see what you have in store for A-chan and B-kun!

Rules:

1. There is no limit as to the number of submissions per contestant.
2. The submissions must be electronic and needs to be JPEG, TIFF, or PSD (Photoshop file) format.
3. Image resolution must be 300dpi and the file size should not exceed 10 Mb
4. When submitting, please include your first and last name separated by and underscore in the file name: john_smith_mascotentry.jpg
5. Images are required to include at least one of the mascots and adhere to mascot guidelines. Please refer to the mascot "How To" guide.
6. Sexual, graphic or otherwise inappropriate images will be disqualified.
7. All submitted material will become property of Anime Boston. Staff will determine manner and condition of usage of submitted material.
8. If a submission is used, proper recognition of original artist will be given.
9. All submissions are due no later than 6pm EST on April 2nd. Late entries will automatically be disqualified.
10. Winners of the contest will be announced on the web site on April 10th.
