Panel Registration Rules and Information  

Panel requests are to be submitted via the online request form. All information on the request and acceptance process can be found below. If you have any questions, please contact the Panels Coordinator via the online contact form.

Requesting a Panel

It is vital that you fill out the online request form as fully and completely as possible. Understand that the more information you provide us, the easier it is to accept and accommodate your panel.

Age Requirement

All panel organizers MUST be 18 years or older by March 21, 2008 to run a panel and all panelists must be at least 13 years old. No exceptions to this policy.

Contact Information

Please make sure you provide a valid email address. The majority of communication with panelists occurs via email. If we are unable to contact the organizer or panelists, the panel in question will be forfeited. All information submitted is considered strictly confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating the panel. It will not be sold or shared in any way with any other party unless noted. Please keep it accurate and contact us if it changes.

Panelist Registration

All panelists must register for Anime Boston 2008 and abide by convention policies. Panel Organizers may be eligible for full convention registration reimbursement after the convention. Panelists who participate in 4 or more panels may also be eligible for full convention registration reimbursement. Once your panel is accepted, you will receive all the necessary information for the registration reimbursement policy.

Additional Information

While we make every effort to accommodate scheduling and technical requests, we may not be able to meet all requests. Please provide as detailed information as possible if any special accommodations are required.

Anime Boston reserves the right to cancel any panel at any time for any reasons. Your panel must contain material suitable for all ages, with the exception of panels labeled as 18+ in which a valid ID will be required for admittance by security.

Deadline

December 31, 2007

The panel request period is now over. Thank you to everyone who submitted requests.

For those who submitted requests:

• All panels will now be notified whether they have been accepted or not two weeks after the submission deadline.
• There will be a waitlist, as we reserve some panel space for guest panels, and may release some of this to folks on the waiting list.
• Those that are on the waitlist will get an indication of that within two weeks from our deadline (on/around January 15th)
