The official hotel of Anime Boston 2012 is the Sheraton Boston Hotel. It is connected to the Hynes Convention Center. Registration, the formal ball, the informal dance, and some Anime Boston 2012 events will be located in the hotel.

Sheraton Boston

Social Block:
This year, our official hotel, the Sheraton Boston Hotel, is offering a "Social Block". Room gatherings are permitted only within rooms that are part of the Social Block. This does NOT mean that you'll have free reign to make as much noise as you want without repercussion if you are in a room in the Social Block. What it does mean is that there will be less chance that you'll disturb other hotel guests. If the hotel receives enough complaints about a particular room, you may be asked to leave the hotel, whether part of the Social Block or not. The Code of Conduct applies to all rooms.

Quiet Block:
For those who do not wish to be in the Social Block, The Sheraton Boston offers the option of a "Quiet Block" rooms.

A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to hold each individual's reservation. Such deposit shall serve to confirm the reservation for the date(s) indicated. All deposits shall be charged at the time the reservation is made. This is a new policy to ensure faster check-in and check-out. All guests are required to provide a credit card number at arrival to cover incidental or damage charges. If a credit card cannot be provided at check-in, the hotel will collect the equivalent of $50.00 per reserved night. Cash deposits will be returned upon checkout minus any incidental or damage charges. Payment is refundable if notice is received at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

If reserving by phone or in person, please annouce yourself as part of "Anime Boston 2012" so the hotel can find our group rate.
Please note that triple and quadruple occupancy rates do apply.

• The maximum number of people in a King room is 3. The maximum number of people in a double bed room is 4. If you have more than 4 people in your room, you run the risk of being kicked out of the hotel.
• Please keep in mind that all attendees staying at the hotel will be held to the code of conduct. If you haven't seen the code of conduct before, you can read it here.
• The rates above are offered the nights of Wednesday, April 4 through Sunday, April 8, 2012. Rates are also valid for 3 days prior and 3 days after the convention, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation.
• If there are multiple people in your room, one person can check everyone in. That person MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE.
• Hotel guests shall be responsible for their incidental charges upon checkout.
• Do not decorate the windows of your hotel room with signs or write on the windows with soap, shaving cream, etc. Rooms found with writing on windows will be subject to an additional cleaning charge.

• Rollaway beds at the Sheraton are available on a first come, first served basis. They are "Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Rollaway" beds and are the exact same bed as the "Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds" currently in the rooms, the only difference being that the rollaway is mobile. They include all the sheets, duvet covers, and pillow.

The Colonnade Hotel

A credit card is required to hold each individual's reservation. Upon check in a credit card will be authorized for room and tax for the full stay as well as $100 additional per day for incidental charges. At check-out, the room and tax charges (as well as any incidental charges) will be placed on the card and the remaining balance from the authorization will be released at the end of the day. The bank will release a credit card hold within 1 business day, a debit card hold will take 3-5 days. Payment is refundable if notice is received at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.
