Alewife Garage
If you're on a tight budget, don't have too much to carry, and won't need your car until you leave, you may consider parking at the MBTA garage at Alewife (located at the intersection of Route 2 and Route 16). It's at the northwest end of the Red Line. Parking only costs $5.00 per day and a subway ride is $2.00 with a Charlie Ticket and $1.70 with a Charlie Card per person each way. It's about a 45 minute subway ride. (Don't worry, the T is safe...but it closes early at around 12:30 am each night.) Garage height clearance is 7'2" and has 2,595 spaces.

Riverside Lot
Like Alewife, this is outside the city at the end of the subway line. It's located at Exit 22 off of Route 128/I-95. From Riverside, you can take the Green Line's "D" train directly in to the Hynes/ICA stop. It also takes about 45 minutes, so leave yourself plenty of time and make sure you get a "D - Riverside" train when you're headed back.

Parking here costs $3.75 per day. Parking is paid in advance. The subway fare is $2.00 with a Charlie Ticket and $1.70 with a Charlie Card per person each way. This parking lot has 925 spaces.

Wellington Garage
The Wellington Garage and T Station are located on Revere Beach Parkway (Route 16), east of Route 28 in Medford. From I-93, take Exit 30, Route 28 North. At the intersection with Route 16, take a right onto Route 16 East. Wellington is ¼ mile up on the left. The garage has 1,316 parking spaces.
