The Consulate-General of Japan in Boston presents the Japan Festival 2013. Last year's festival celebrated the 100th Anniversary of kyoto's friendship gift of cherry trees to Washingon, DC. The Festival was a huge success with over 13,000 participants.
This year the Festival is being held in City Hall Square from 10am - 6pm on Sunday, May 19th. Admission is free to all. The Festival can be easily reached by the T subway at the Government Center stop on the Blue and Green lines.
Anime Boston will also be at the Festival. We will have our final in-person registration event for the 2013 convention, which happens to be the following weekend. However, it will be cash-only and no checks this time.
We hope you'll join us all at the Japan Festival in Boston.
