Lantis’s nano.RIPE and ALI PROJECT to perform at Anime Boston!


nano.RIPE is a guitar rock band formed by Kimiko (Vocals & Guitar), Jun Sasaki (Guitar). Nobuyuki Abe (Bass) and Yuki Aoyama (Drums).

They signed with Lantis Records and released “Patricia” in September 2010. Since then, they've released many Anime tie-in songs including those for Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle, Bakuman, Hanasaku Iroha, The Devil is a Part Timer, Non Non Biyori and Non Non Biyori Repeat.

The individual band members also show their ability as a songwriters on such projects like Idolm@ster Million Live.

nano.RIPE perform many live shows and concerts regularly and enjoy meeting their fans from all over the world.

In 2015, the band celebrated their 5th anniversary during which they tried a 47 nation-wide tour for the first time.  They will be making their North American debut at Anime Boston.

ALI PROJECT is made up by Arika Takarano (Lyrics and Vocal) and Mikiya Katakura (Composer and Arrangement).

Since 1992, the pair has charmed audiences with their uniqueness.  They are known for their one and only original melody and music arrangement as well as poetic lyrics and strong visuals.

ALI PROJECT has contributed their unique sound to many anime titles like Seishoujyo Ryouiki (Domain of the Holy Girls Theme song from Rozen Maiden) and Yushoku Seishunka (Chivalrous Youth Song Theme song from Code Geass). 

In addition, they can also be heard performing in the following titles The Girl Who Leapt Through Space, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, .hack// G.U. Returner, .hack//Roots, Avenger, Noir, Marmalade Boy, CLAMP School Detectives, Katanagatari, Wish, and Mai-HiME - Unmei no Keitouju.

Beyond performing anime theme songs, the pair release original albums and tour every year.

ALI PROJECT has released an album with only strings and vocals. In 2015, they took part in a strings concert GEKKOU Soerre at Orchard Hall in Japan.

Their latest album is called Kairaku No Susume and features the Anime Opening Theme of Haramitsu Range Paaramitaa Lotus Flower.”

ALI PROJECT is a one of a kind duo who takes control of all aspects of their performance including Visual Arts, Art, Design, Costume, and Stage Design in addition to the music. They call themselves “Contemporary Art Music” ALI PROJECT keeps growing and evolving.
