Staff Position Details

Secretary

The Secretary shall record and maintain all records of all proceedings of the Executive Staff and Convention Staff.

  • The Secretary shall be responsible for keeping records of Executive Staff actions, sending out meeting announcements, posting copies of meeting agendas and minutes on the forums, and assuring that corporate records are maintained.
  • The Secretary is responsible for making sure that a timeline for important action items is created, maintained, and the responsible people are informed when necessary.
  • Additionally the Secretary is responsible for overseeing the voting and nomination process for Executive Staff.
  • Lastly, if the Secretary is absent from any meeting of the Executive Staff or Convention Staff, a temporary Secretary chosen at the meeting shall exercise the duties of the Secretary at the meeting.
  • All staff members are also required to adhere to the Staff Guidelines.
